"Dragshooting" is such a fucking retarded term. It's like people in BF2 had never seen anyone use a sniper rifle in a video game before, so they had to come up with their own dumb-ass term for a snap shot/flick shot/NORMAL FUCKING SNIPING THAT DOESN'T NEED A NAME once they actually learned how to use one. It reminds me of BC2 horribad pubbers coming up with the term "Base rape" to describe generic spawn camping, or how the console community came up with "Spawn trapping"(lol).

Consoles have aim assist, so when you drag your cross hair quickly across the enemy like that, the aim assist kicks in right as you cross their body. It allows you to snipe accurately much easier with a controller. |

Its different for every game. It is needed because it is so hard to be consistently accurate with a controller.

That's cool if that's what they want to use it for now, at least it would make some sort of sense; but the term as I know it originated with and was made popular by snipers in BF2. |
